We are the only shires club located in the heart of the city and near the popular eastern suburbs beaches.
Our facilities are the envy of most clubs Australia wide as we boast a multi-million dollar club house located at our home, Alan Davidson Oval. This magnificent sports facility contains multiple function rooms, a fully equipped bar, air conditioned player and umpire rooms, an elevator, a fully equipped canteen, a large electronic scoreboard, scorers room, and an observation deck. All of this overlooking the superb Alan Davidson Oval.
The ground also has light towers suitable for night cricket, making it one of only seven of its kind in the country.
