South Sydney-1st Grade Premiers-2008/09 and 2009/10!!

Souths defeated Strathfield in a close Grand Final to become back to back Premiers for the first time. Strathfield were bowled out for 126 after being 7/52. Souths batted on Day 1 and were 2/5, 6/56 and 8/112 before taking the lead late on Day 1. After being bowled out with an 8 run lead, we were set 106 to win in 40 overs. The match was drawn with two overs to go and the score at 2/77.

South Sydney Legends Retire.

Michael and Richard Chee Quee have announced their retirements following back to back premierships.

In his 12 seasons with the club, Michael has scored 5043 runs and taken 134 catches in 182 matches. He has played in 8 Finals for 4 Premierships.

Richard has captained the side to 3 Premierships in the last 4 years.
