Aims & Objectives
SSDCC prides itself in providing extensive coaching by a quality panel of coaching staff. Whether you are new to the game or a seasoned professional, the fully accredited training staff at South Sydney will commit themselves to assist you in any way they can.
The Coaching panel, led by our Training Co-ordinator and Specialist Coaches, the team work tirelessly to ensure the club is always focussed on its performance objectives, that being:
- To continue to provide Quality Junior Development to the South Sydney District;
- To win the Club Championship;
- To win the First Grade Premiership;
- To continue to develop professional training practices;
- To foster stronger links with a grade club.
To assist in achieving these goals the Club has an accredited coaching panel with specific roles and qualifications
The Club recognises the necessity of a coaching panel in order to provide quality coaching & training sessions. By providing a number of people with different & overlapping skills it is able to competently address all players needs and provide junior development of the highest quality. The number of coaches & the division of their roles enable SSDCC to provide excellent coaching and development programs.
Pre Season Training and Grading (From 16 July):
Saturdays 16,23,30 July, August 6 and 13 at Kingsgrove Cricket Centre- 12-130PM
Saturdays August 20,27,September 3,10 and 17 at Alan Davidson Oval from 12-3PM. Trials and centre-wicket practice on September 17 TBS
In Season Training (Wednesdays from September 21):
At Alan Davidson Oval- From 430PM
